If you call the help desk because you’re locked out of a program, don’t worry – we are empathetic to that problem. Sometimes, we have to reset our own passwords too. We are happy to help! We often get asked to make it so passwords won’t expire and to make all of the callers passwords the same, but that is one of the easiest known ways for a criminal to conduct cybercrime: by trying the same password on multiple devices which are points of entry into our client’s network. How are we going to keep you safe if you’re not going to trust my advice? I need you to trust my experience to know that I can solve your IT challenges. I really do enjoy my job. I am proud to be part of a team that really works hard to make sure our clients are taken care of, but we aren’t all work and no play.
