At Big Sur, we’ve spent over 25 years building something we’re proud of in Tampa Bay – not just a technology company, but a team that genuinely cares about the community around it. That’s why the Girls on the Run 5K, hosted by Girls on the Run Greater Tampa Bay, is one of our favorite events of the year.

As the official Finish Line Sponsor, we had the privilege of showing up for hundreds of young athletes as they completed a season-long program built around confidence, resilience, leadership, and healthy habits. Watching those girls cross the finish line is a reminder of why community involvement isn’t just something we talk about, it’s something we show up for.

Supporting the Lanier Elementary Team

This year, we were especially excited to root for the team from Lanier Elementary. These girls spent an entire season training, learning, and growing together, and race day was their moment to show what they were made of. The determination on their faces at the finish line said everything. Our involvement with Lanier Elementary is a reflection of Big Sur’s commitment to programs that invest in the next generation, not just in terms of athletic achievement, but in building the kind of confidence and character that carries young women forward for the rest of their lives.

Medals, Cheers, and a Finish Line Worth Celebrating

Big Sur employees volunteered at the finish line, personally handing medals to every single participant and making sure each girl felt recognized for what she accomplished. From high-fives to cheers, our team poured everything into making that finish-line moment as big as it deserved to be.
