INDEMNITY WAIVER AND RELEASE OF LIABILITY
(For Company Volunteer Participation)

1. ACKNOWLEDGEMENT OF RISK
I, the undersigned, understand and acknowledge that participation in the Girls on the Run 5K (the “Event”) involves inherent risks, including but not limited to swimming, sun exposure, water activities, physical exertion, slips, falls, allergic reactions, and other unforeseen hazards associated with beach environments and recreational activities.
I voluntarily choose to participate in the Event and assume all such risks, whether known or unknown, foreseeable or unforeseeable.
2. WAIVER AND RELEASE
In consideration of being allowed to participate in the Event, I hereby waive, release, and discharge Big Sur Technologies, its officers, directors, employees, agents, and representatives (collectively, the “Released Parties”) from any and all liability, claims, demands, actions, or causes of action arising out of or related to any loss, damage, injury (including death), or expense that I may suffer as a result of my participation in the Event, including travel to and from the Event, whether arising from the negligence of the Released Parties or otherwise.
3. INDEMNITY
I agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the Released Parties from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including attorneys’ fees) arising from my participation in the Event or any breach of this agreement.
4. MEDICAL TREATMENT
I hereby authorize the Company to secure emergency medical treatment for me in the event of an injury or medical emergency. I understand that I am responsible for all costs related to such treatment.
5. PERSONAL RESPONSIBILITY
I certify that I am in good health and capable of participating in the Event. I understand that I am responsible for my own safety and personal belongings at all times during the Event.
6. GOVERNING LAW
This Waiver shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the of Florida.
7. SEVERABILITY
If any provision of this Waiver is held to be invalid or unenforceable, the remainder shall continue in full force and effect.
8. ENTIRE AGREEMENT
This document constitutes the entire agreement between the parties and supersedes any prior understanding, whether written or oral
